A few weeks ago, I had the wonderful pleasure of photographing the eighth annual Fall Classic Golf Tournament hosted by the Greater Austin Asian Chamber of Commerce at Twin Creeks Country Club.
I was stationed to take group shots in one area which was such a joy waving at every golf cart that came by (if y’all knew me in college, I was a tour guide for part of my school job). During some downtime, I decided to move about within the walkable distance of my spot. Here are the smiles and moments I caught in between.

Photographing families in Austin, Texas has been an absolute joy. Even though we all have access to devices that can take photos instantly, families still value having photos taken by a professional photographer who eliminates the struggle that comes with propping up a smartphone and guessing if the shot will be in focus for every person in the family (and not just on Auntie Beth who’s in the middle of the family of eight).
I had such a wonderful time photographing a Mommy and Me photo session with the sweetest mother and daughter. These photos were done early in the morning, right before school, with weather that graced us with beautiful fog. The softness of the environment and a happy family will always make great photos.
