Joy Manifested

A few weeks ago, I took an Energising Flow class at Flow State Hove while traveling. It was exactly what my body and spirit needed. The teacher mentioned she’d been manifesting more joy into her life and was thrilled that I had manifested into her class. A fellow student laughed and said I was probably on her Pinterest board.

That moment reminded me what my own name means, spelled correctly if you will. Joy. A word with endless synonyms, all pointing toward light. I didn’t always embrace it, especially during my teenage years when I journaled in the dark and forgot that there was always light waiting at the end of the tunnel.

Now I see it as my guide. Joy is not something fragile or childish. It’s an act of unwavering sense of power despite all the chaos that can surround us.

For the rest of the year, I’m leaning into that truth. I’m shaping my portfolio and my creative collaborations to reflect more connection, more color, and more understanding. Whether I’m photographing fashion campaigns, personal brands, or editorial projects here in Austin, my work is about capturing the spark that makes someone feel seen again.

As an Austin fashion photographer and brand photographer, I create vibrant, emotionally intelligent imagery that speaks to both people and purpose. My work lives where art direction meets energy, where confidence and imagination coexist. I love partnering with advertising agencies and visionary brands who want visuals that feel alive, intentional, and unforgettable.

Because photography is more than a service. It’s a language of joy, and I plan to keep speaking it fluently.
