I had the most wonderful time photographing the Austin Asian American Film Festival’s “Stories Within” premiere at the Austin Public Library. I even got the chance to do some step and repeat portraiture.
As the mini-documentary played, I found myself tearing up as I watched the featured contributors speak to their younger selves about the racism and discrimination they will encounter, as well as uplifting messages that will help them along the way. The feels kept going as the panel and the writing workshop followed. Click here if you would like to learn more about this beautiful project.
Hi everyone! Here’s a quick follow-up from October’s Wedding Expo. I had such a lovely time connecting with Hearth & Soul’s clients and vendors here in Austin, Texas.
Cue internal cartwheels because they put me in the library section of their beautiful store!
I even got to look at the colorful and creative creations of La Boujee Housewife’s grazing/charcuterie boards and eat some deliciously addicting vegan chocolate from Cinful Sweets.

Cheers to a multicolor Monday with some faceless portraits I photographed for a client.
With a mix of candid and posing directions, my client and I collaborated to create fun and creative images that reflect my client’s personality with body language.
